Small ceramic pots with sgraffito design on outside. Good size for small cactus or succulent, the pot has a drainage hole in the bottom.
Diameter 8.5cm at the top and 4.5cm at the base. 8cm tall.
These are slip cast using earthenware slip. I made the plaster cast for these from a wooden model which I turned on a lathe. Coloured slip is added to the pots and carved into by hand to create the design, they are then fired in the kiln twice, the second time after a clear glossy glaze has been applied.
Each pot is slightly different due to their handmade nature so the decoration will be slightly different to the photographs.

This is a handmade item, there may be some small imperfections which show this process and make each one unique.
All pieces are wrapped in tissue and securely packaged for posting. I try to re-use as much packaging as possible so your postage box may be re-used from a delivery I have received. All bubble wrap used is recycled and any void fill that I purchase is compostable.
