Ceramic tealight holder with cutout sgraffito design.  The cutout sections light up when a candle is lit inside.  
Diameter is 8cm at the top.  6.5cm tall.
This piece is slip cast using a plaster cast I made from a wooden model which I turned on the lathe.  Coloured slip is added and scratched into to create the pattern, then the cutouts are carved.  It is then fired in the kiln.  After the first firing a clear glaze applied before it is fired for a second and final time.
Each one is carved and decorated by hand so will differ slightly to the photographs.  The listing is for one item.
